Order Of Merit
The Order Of Merit (OOM) is a points system in 4no. categories:
- Mid-Amateur Gross
- Mid-Amateur Net
- Senior Gross
- Senior Net
Each event has a points system allocated to it and if you are a member of the tour, you will be awarded points based on your position and the points system for that event, whether it be 18 holes, 36 holes or 54 holes, which all have different points systems.
As mentioned, to qualify for the OOM, you have to join as a tour member, which is £50 for the season. you can do this by clicking on the "Tour membership" link above and completing the form.
Once you have joined the tour, you will benefit from reduced rates at each event.
At the end of the season, the winners of each of the categories will win a prize as the season OOM winner.
In addition, the top 3 players in each category (12) qualify for the tour finals day golf in Spain , which includes a free day with prizes at yje fabulous PGA Catalunya. The day is 18 holes including breakfast, lunch and prizes for the day.
